January: Human Trafficking Awareness Month!
Held every January
Our club’s annual Human Trafficking Awareness Walk and Event is an in-person event held every January in Vista.
In 2026, the Walk was held on Saturday, January 10 at the United Methodist Church of Vista, and Vista Mayor John Franklin was our guest speaker. There were information tables from local non-profits active in the fight against human trafficking. STOP TRAFFICKING signs were provided for the walkers.
This was our 20th year of holding this walk. See article here: http://www.soroptimistvista.org/2025/11/24/human-trafficking-awareness-walk-jan-10/
