May 4, 2024--Our big fundraiser of the year was “Bunco de Mayo” at the Vista Senior Center. A good time was had by all and we’ll add the profits to our Service Fund to be donated next year. Thanks to all who came and all who helped make it a success!

We help women live their dreams

Soroptimist’s Live Your Dream Awards program is a unique education grant for women who provide the primary financial support for their families. Live Your Dream Awards give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.

We mentor young girls

Through Soroptimist’s Dream It, Be It program, our club works in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Vista, working with girls in small groups to provide them with the information and resources they want and need to be successful and to overcome obstacles.

We fight human trafficking

Through our annual Human Trafficking Awareness Walk each January and our Anti-Human Trafficking Collaborative meetings, our club is active in the fight against modern day slavery.

Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement with a network of around 66,000 club members in 120 countries. Our club has been chosen twice as one of only three finalists for the Heroes of Vista award in the non-profit category. We partner with other local non-profits that help women in our area. We support our local chamber of commerce and seek ways to support our community partners.
